About this book

Creators: José Martí (1853-1895) "La Edad de Oro: publicación mensual de recreo e instrucción dedicada a los…" by José Martí is a monthly children's magazine published in 1889 in New York. During his exile while preparing Cuba's independence from Spanish colonialism, Martí created four issues filled with stories, essays, and poetry. The magazine aimed to inspire young readers toward knowledge, love, and justice through universal human values spanning diverse themes and eras. Despite only four issues being published due to ideological differences with the editor, it became a cornerstone of Cuban and Latin American literature. (This is an automatically generated summary.)
