About this book
Creators: Anonymous and Charles Dickens (1812-1870) "Nell and Her Grandfather, Told from Charles Dickens's 'The Old Curiosity Shop'" is an adaptation of a novel originally published in 1840-1841. Young Nell Trent and her grandfather flee their London curiosity shop after losing everything to a malicious moneylender and gambling debts. As they wander through England as beggars, various parties pursue them—some seeking to help, others to harm. The journey tests Nell's strength while her grandfather's mental state deteriorates, leading toward a destination neither expects. (This is an automatically generated summary.)
